What is the BoLS Open?
The BoLS Open is an independent tabletop gaming event in Austin, Texas that is run by Saving Throws Charitable Events, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that raises money for children’s charities.
When and where is the BoLS Open held?
The BoLS Open will be held June 11th-13th 2021 at the Holiday Inn Midtown in Austin, TX. Free surface lot parking is available at the venue.
Where can I eat and what can I do in Austin?
There are a number of local eateries within walking distance of the venue in The Linc, and Austin has a host of great restaurants that are a short car trip away on Airport Boulevard. If you want to travel further out, the venue is less than 10 minutes from fine dining and clubs downtown, local favorites and dives in East Austin, and fast, casual options in Mueller.
How do I get into the event?
Anyone interested in attending the open will need to purchase a badge, which will allow you to purchase event tickets to participate in specific events. You cannot purchase tickets without purchasing a badge. You can pick up your badge at the registration table at the open. Attendees must wear their badge while at the open in order to participate in events.

Are kids welcome at the open?
Yes! The BoLS Open is a family-friendly event and welcomes attendees of any age. If your child would like to participate in an event with you, they will need a badge and you will need to buy a ticket for them. For your safety, we require that children under the age of 12 be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Can I join the event team?
